Hello everybody I started spinning poi in April and I am totally new to meteors. I apologize if I overlooked it somewhere...but how long is the area between the average meteor heads? Is there anywhere else I can get more info on this?

    Homeofpoi.com will have some info.

The length you shoudl use shoudl be what ever feel comfy, I made my practise meteors outta 10 feet of rope and just tied knots on either side until it was about the length i wanted, 10 feet a rop with like 8 knots in it. :)

eh, like the last guy said(sorry i don't remember your handle) whatever you're comfortable with. i tend to find that a little less than twice your height is suitable.

Huh. now see I use a 7 foot'er with two knots in it, having it around 6'6 working well for me, and I'm 6' tall. I do a lot of vertical plane stuff and almost no horizontal, and I think there in lies the difference.
